As President, he co-manages the executive board and 15 agencies and committees. Nityanta is super excited to set a new standard as to what AAF Illinois is all about. When not working on AAF, you can often find him working with the athletic department or studying at SCD.

Caroline Burns | Vice-President

Caroline is a senior studying advertising with a minor in communications and a certificate in sports media. As Vice President, Caroline helps co-lead the executive board and help manage the 15 agencies and committees. She is excited to provide a space for members to learn and develop the necessary skills to set them up for success within the advertising industry and beyond. Kara Yoo | CEO

Kara is a Junior studying Advertising with a minor in Art & Design. As Chief Executive Officer, she is responsible for co-managing the operations of our 15 agencies and committees and represents AAF Illinois as one of the Board of Directors. Kara is dedicated to running the executive board with clarity, timeliness, and realistic expectations while cultivating a social, relaxed environment for AAF Illinois as a whole. Miguel Mora | Chief Client Services Officer

Miguel is a Junior majoring in Advertising, with minors in Anthropology and Teaching English as a Second Language. In his position he is responsible for recruiting and managing all of the clients that AAF Illinois works with during the semester. In his free time, he enjoys rock climbing, cooking, hiking, and reading.

Madeline Kruse | Chief Creative Officer

Madeline is a senior in Advertising minoring Sociology. As Chief Creative Officer, Madeline is responsible for create creative works from logo design to in house advertisements. Outside of AAF, she loves going to concerts and watching A24 films. Madeline is also involved in the National Student Advertising Competition club, WPGU 101.7, Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society and is the campus representative for Universal/NBC.

Sonia Gutkowski | Chief Diversity Officer

Sonia is a junior studying advertising. As the Chief Diversity Officer, Sonia assists with maintaining diversity, equity, and inclusion and helps oversee the applicants for MPMS and MAIP! Sonia is excited to help others learn more about diverse opportunities and advocate for themselves and others. Outside of AAF, she really enjoys hanging out with friends, making art, and listening to music. Additionally, Sonia is also involved with UIUC NAMI, a club that caters towards de-stigmatizing mental health.

Lauren Barjami | Chief Industry Engagement Officer

Lauren Barjami, a junior majoring in Advertising with minors in Computer Science and Informatics, serves as the Chief Industry Engagement Officer for the American Advertising Federation at Illinois. In this role, she organizes industry trips like Advasion, coordinates speaker events, and strengthens alumni relationships. Outside of AAF, Lauren is a cycling instructor at the ARC and a course assistant for Data Science Discovery (STAT 107). In her spare time, she runs an Etsy shop featuring custom music stickers and enjoys making clay art and cooking Mediterranean food. Lauren loves attending concerts and festivals like Lollapalooza with her sisters and friends. She’s also an avid runner, training for her first marathon, the Chicago Marathon, this fall.

Elie is a junior in Advertising with a PR minor and serves as Chief Communications Officer for AAF this year. Ava is a Junior studying Advertising with minors in Business and Public Relations. She helps promote and host various social events for the program in hopes of making AAF a place to learn but also to grow your community. Jenn is a senior studying Advertising with minors in Informatics, Public Relations & Creative Writing. Lauren is a senior, majoring in Advertising with a minor in Business. Her role involves organizing engaging events, managing communications, and working with other club officers to create experiences that strengthen the AAF community. Emily Wojcik is a senior majoring in Advertising and minoring in Anthropology. She is responsible for AAF’s level of community engagement (local and non-local). Ryan is a Senior studying Computer Science + Advertising. As the Chief Digital Officer, his job is to update and oversee the digital online presence of AAF's webpage. He also is responsible for updating the various agencies’ websites with new content. Camra is a senior studying Advertising with a minor in African American Studies. Caroline is a junior studying advertising with a minor in informatics. Outside of the chapter, Caroline is a member of Kappa Delta Sorority and works at local fashion boutique, Bella Mia.

Megan Krok | AdBuzz President

Megan is a junior studying Journalism with a minor in public relations. As AdBuzz President, Megan helps guide members to develop their skills in public relations as they work with clients throughout the semester. In her free time, she loves to go thrifting, search for trinkets and treasures at antique shops, go to concerts, and watch movies. Outside of AAF, Megan is also a member of the Delta Zeta sorority, Phi Alpha Delta pre-law fraternity, Alpha Phi Omega service fraternity, and works as a TA for JOUR 200.

Alexandra Nader | ADVenture Project Manager

Alexandra is a junior studying Advertising with a minor in business. As the ADVenture Project Manager, she works to ensure that everyone is completing their advertising projects efficiently, and helps keep agency members on track. Grace is a junior studying Advertising and Business. Sydney is a sophomore studying Media and Cinema Studies with a minor in Advertising. As Vice President of CTRL+V, she helps to lead weekly meetings and teach members important techniques within videography, while also overseeing creative work. Justin Meyers | Hyperlink Project Manager

Justin is a junior majoring in Advertising with minors in Business and Public Relations. As Hyperlink Project Manager, his responsibilities include managing the productivity and progress of all projects within the agency to ensure they are completed promptly while adhering to the brand standards of AAF Illinois. At the same time, he oversees several agency teams and provides content creation resources, tips, lessons, and advice to ensure their success. Nora is a sophomore studying Advertising. As Mosaic President, Nora is focussing on building this new agency and setting a high standard for its operation. She is responsible for leading her team through gaining several Google certifications, improving several nonprofit's Google Ad accounts by using SEO, and providing several reports throughout the semester. Greta Prepejchal | NSAC Creative Director

Greta is a senior studying Advertising with a minor in Art & Design. Greta is eager to compete in NSAC for a second year, this time as the team's creative director. Having previously lead AdLab, Greta is excited to grow as a leader and as a collaborative creative through the position as the team shoots for 1st place. Christina Calas | OTH Account Director

Christina is a senior studying Advertising with a minor in Business. Hugh McKee | AdLab President

Hugh is a Sophomore studying Advertising with hopes to add a minor in business. As the president of AdLab, Hugh is responsible for regularly leading a group of 30-50 students in lessons to build professional skills they will employ in their school work and in their future careers. Besides his involvement within AAF, he enjoys going to the gym, drawing and working on personal logo projects, and being with friends. Additionally, Hugh is the Vice President of Sigma Nu, a sales representative with a startup web development company, and works at KAMS.

Hallie is a senior studying Graphic Design with a minor in Public Relations. Hyperlink produces all branding and content of AAF. As Hyperlink President Milla is in charge of organizing meetings, delegating tasks and projects among groups, educating members, and functioning as a leader of the AAF internal branding agency. Rawan El-Bawab | Midnight Oil President

Rawan is a junior studying Computer Science + Advertising with minors in Spanish and Statistics. As Midnight Oil President, she is responsible for planning meetings and leading client teams in creating real advertising work for small businesses around the CU area. This is her third year in AAF and in addition she works for the Illini Union as a Social Media Assistant creating content for their various social media accounts. Jacob Fong | NSAC Strategy Director

Jacob is a senior studying Computer Science + Advertising. As NSAC Strategy Director, Jacob is in charge of leading the strategy portion of AAF's competition agency. In the past, Jacob has also served as the Social Media Director and Chief Digital Officer of AAF and is excited to pass on his experiences and advice to new members joining our RSO. Reis is a junior majoring in Advertising with dual minors in Informatics and Public Relations. As President of RSVP, she fosters a creative and positive environment where individuals can develop their skills within an experiential marketing agency focused on crafting memorable experiences for clients. Outside of her work with AAF, Reis serves as Treasurer and Fundraising Chair for Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, a prominent D9 organization. She also works as a PR/Strategic Communication Intern for a luxury magazine based in Atlanta, Georgia. In her free time, Reis enjoys shopping, spending time with friends, and listening to music.

Alec Sellers | ADVenture Director

Alec is a sophomore studying Marketing and Information Systems. As President of ADVenture, Alec is responsible for creating slideshows, running weekly meetings, as well as ensuring that group projects progress properly and in a timely manner. Cole Zgrzebski | Build-It President

Cole is a senior in Advertising with a dual minor in Creative Writing and Queer Studies. As Build-It's President, Cole is excited to oversee the operation of the teams in Build-it as well as taking care of its general direction. Besides AAF, Cole works as a student coordinator at ISR. Julian Trujillo | CTRL+V President

Julian is a senior pursuing a dual degree in Advertising and Psychology. As CTRL+V President, Julian is responsible for overseeing the development of video advertisements for local businesses, as well as training members of various skill levels in video production. Cooper Haynes | Hyperlink Creative Director

Cooper is a junior studying Advertising. Riley Brandhorst | Midnight Oil Account Director

Riley is a senior studying Communication with a dual minor in Media and Public Relations. She also works closely with the president to lead agency meetings and ensure client expectations are met and exceeded. Caden Jones | NSAC President

Caden is a senior studying Advertising with a minor in Business. As the NSAC President, he is in charge of overseeing the NSAC team and making sure that the campaign process runs smoothly for this year's client, AT&T. Outside of AAF and advertising, he enjoys practicing his graphic design and art, working out, and going out. Caden is also helping as an intern for the SBC Master's program on campus this year.

William Hohe | NSAC Art Director

William is a senior studying in both Photography (BFA) and Advertising (BS) with minors in Art History and Business. As the NSAC Art Director, William is responsible for the creative vision, executions, and fulfilling the connections between strategy and production for our NSAC cohort. Outside of AAF, William has formerly been involved with the Circular Fashion Expo (CFE) as the lead organizer and now serves at the Director of Art & Design, served as the president of The Fashion Network (TFN) at UIUC, and works too many jobs at the School of Art + Design. Besides that, William aspires to work in the fashion industry, managing creative and art direction for campaigns, etc. as well as continue their practice as exhibiting multimedia artist.

Neive McInerney | OTH President

Neive is a Junior studying advertising with a Minor in Business. As President of the On The House Agency, Neive is responsible for leading the student-run advertising agency. This includes leading student teams made up of creatives, copywriters, strategists, and directors in their endeavors to provide advertising solutions to local businesses and organizations. Outside of AAF, Neive really enjoys going for outdoor walks, finding new music, and of course hanging out with friends. Additionally, Neive is also involved with The Society of Women in Public Affairs, Alpha Gamma Delta, REACH at Illinois, and is a student ambassador for Acorns Investing.

Atharva is a Sophomore studying CS + Advertising with a dual minor in Mathematics and Economics. As AdTech Chair, Atharva is delegated with the responsibility of trying to optimize and synergize advertising roadblocks using the transformative power of engineering. Apart from his responsibilities, you would find Atharva either loving life or debugging his code. His interests include videography, Ultimate Frisbee, and public speaking. Outside of AAF, Atharva is involved in OTCR Consulting, and operates as the Head Of Content and CMO over at Proof Of Concept & Abode. Can't live without: His Headphones, Mia Za's & Fifa.

Odi Ogbuefi | DEI Chair

Odi is a junior studying Advertising with minors in Informatics and Public Relations. As DEI chair, she leads the DEI Committee and teaches members how to advocate for themselves and for others within the Advertising industry. When she is not at AAF, you can find her at her other RSOs, Creators of Color Association and Minority Business Student Association, or volunteering around campus!

Kedzie Griffin | Outreach Chair

Kedzie is a junior studying Recreation, Sport, and Tourism with a concentration in Sport Management. She is also working towards a Sport Media Certificate. As Outreach Chair, Kedzie spends her time leading the Outreach Committee, trying to get new members to join AAF Illinois. In her free time, she loves to hang out with friends, go on hikes, paint her nails, and watch youtube. On campus, she works for the football team, as well as for the apartment building HERE.
